The roles
There are three to five roles on offer each year, and you can spend a time point to look for more. There's no audition to fail. If you have the acting skill and the time, the part is yours.
Below 100 fame you can do commercials, which anyone can take and which pay a bit more for every point of fame you have, and theatre, which needs acting 18 and pays more and builds fame faster. At 100 fame, TV series open up at acting 22 and film leads at acting 26. Both take two time points, and the pay keeps going up the more famous you are.
Getting to set costs money, and a time point as well if you don't have a car.
How it goes wrong
You lose a fifth of your fame every year. If it drops below 100, the TV and film offers stop, and you're back to commercials until you build it up again. Residuals pay you for being famous while you're acting, and they stop the year you quit.
