One line21 words

OpenLifeSim is a free life simulator that plays in a browser tab: one generated life, lived one year at a time.

Short54 words

OpenLifeSim is a free life simulator that runs in a browser tab — no download, no account, no ads. Every run generates a character into a family, a country and a year nobody picked, somewhere between 1960 and 2019. From there you study, work, buy, move, fall in love, and eventually leave something behind.

Long119 words

OpenLifeSim is a free life simulator that plays entirely in the browser. Each run generates a person into a family, a country and an era nobody picked, then hands you their years one at a time: school and 25 skills, 155 jobs across 22 career ladders, eight special careers with rules of their own, property, cars, loans and businesses, and 22 countries to move between — reached through real visas, with 14 languages deciding what work you can actually take.

It is built to be read rather than scrolled: a dashboard of readouts you can scan on a phone, with low-poly 3D characters and procedurally furnished homes. When a life ends you keep its summary card, and roll another.
